Seeing Santa

I think Rustin thought he was going to die. He cried so bad! (As you can see) Hopefully he will grow out of this... It is his 3rd year seeing santa. The first he was just 2 mo. old so no problems there. The 2nd he cried also, and of course you can see how this year went.
He decided that sitting on santas lap with mom is not so bad.
Mikinzie also had a hard time sitting with santa. I dont know why he is so scarry...

Justin talked to him like they are old friends
And of course Logan- He enjoyed telling Santa everything he wanted for Christmas.
Mikinzie, Justin, & Logan are my sisters kids. We went to Zion's Bank to see santa. My mom works there and she told us that he was comming. Hooray!

Our Christmas Tree

We put up our Christmas Tree around the 4th or 5th of December. I think that it is a little easier when it was just me putting up the tree. Rustin sure is a helper though. He helped put the branches in , put on a few decorations and then mostly played with the trash (bags, sticks, anything he could find). I love having our tree up and so does Rustin, Randy also said that it looks nice this year. We went and bought us new decorations for the tree. I was tired of the decorations that we had. They have been the same for about 4 years now. So shopping we went and found us these new decorations. It took only about 3 stores for me to find what I wanted, but we did it! Rustin is the one that usually plugs in the lights in the morning. He has learned quick that he doesn't play in the tree, or mom gets mad-but he still attempts sometimes. We are going to try and get some lights put up outside this year. Hopefully that will be successful as well!

Playin outside

It was a warm day about a week ago or so- and we decided to go outside to play. Even notice that Rustin is not wearing a coat. He loves his tractors and trucks- I either watch him play or do things in the yard while he plays. I dont get many pictures of me because I am the person always behind the camera. I am about the only one in my family that remembers to bring my camera or thinks to get it out to capture a moment. But it all works out. Here in the picture is rustin playing but notice the shadow-- thats me! I guess I will show up in photos other ways!

Better late than never!

Rustin and Texie had fun playing together during thanksgiving. Its a good thing that my mom has two of these wonderful booster seats. We kind of got a good family photo- too bad rustin wasnt looking at the camera. Before rustin and I went down to my moms house to help her cook he decided that he was going to wear Randys tie and his yellow water boots. Doesnt he look great! My Grandma Alice and Grandpa Lee moved to Duchesne a while ago. We love having them here and it makes it great for them to come and have thanksgiving dinner with us. Karri wasnt able to come out for thanksgiving because the becksteads were skinning mink! Sounds fun.... Anyway- mal was also gone while we were cooking dinner- she went to carsons. So that left Me, Katti, and Mom to cook the great thanksgiving meal. We all had a blast and enjoyed eachothers company. Ty and Step came to eat with us also, because Margarett and Dwayne went on vacation. We enjoyed them!

Just a cute picture!

I just think that this is a really good picture. I took it in front of my house.

Just a few updates to our family life

Not much has happened around our house lately. Besides try to get over colds and the flu. We are now just getting our strength back and enjoying the last couple of warm-ish days outside. I have started to play a little volleyball with a few people in our ward. I knew I was out of shape but come on- I can't even bare to sit down, my legs are so sore! But I am now 18 week pregnant so I guess that much is to be expected. Around the farm we are just trying to get the last of the crops in and the cornstalks hauled. They say summer is a busy time for farmers- but really I don't think it ever stops. If its not planting is farming and hauling, then putting every thing up that we planted for the year- after that its the dirtiest job yet... hauling the poop out into the fields. Then the process starts over again. We enjoy the time that we do get to spend with Randy out on the farm and in the tractor. Today we were driving to the church to play ball and Rustin starts yelling Cows mom cows.... So at least he knows one of the many animals out there. Lately his biggest thing is Bob the Builder. We almost cant go anywhere with out that movie, it puts him to sleep at night, entertains him during the day and usually that's all he wants. He will walk around the house saying bob the builder- can we fits it- i thing so. I also just randomly asked him what bob builds and he says, "a house mom" like duh you don't know.... Richard and Vickie are able to move into their new house- though they haven't quite done that yet. So far they watch TV and sometimes eat in there but still enjoy sleeping in their camper. I think the reason for that is she is making sure to get her decorations up and everything in first. We are going to spend this Thanksgiving with my family. We try to trade every other year but it gets a little hard with both families so close. We will probably spend most of the day at my parents house and then, after feeding the cows, we will probably go visit with Randy's family. It is also nice that they are both here so that we can see them both. I still haven't pulled my Christmas decorations out of the shed yet- but hopefully after thanksgiving Rustin and I will get to work and start getting it all out. Hopefully you all have a wonderful thanksgiving! And after Thanksgiving I am sure that I will have some great pictures for all of you to see.

Cousins

My sister came out to visit. She spent the day or two days up at my house just hanging out. I told rustin to give the girls loves and as you can see he gave them some kisses. Brook didnt know if she liked it or not.

Here Ry is setting up the new tv while we all enjoy the space in Grandmas NEW House

Oh Bonk!

My little one loves to run around. He decided that it would be fun to run from mom instead of take a nap... so off he went. Almost as fast as he went I heard his cry. Poor boy ran right into the corner of our foot board on our bed. Usually when something like this happens he just says "Oh Bonk" but this one cut a little deeper.

On the Farm

Rustin kept on closing his eyes when I would try to take the picture. Finally I got one with his eyes opened!

Here's my cute little family... we are helping Randy feed the cows tonight

Isn't he handsome

I just thought I would get a snapshot of myself while I waited in the tractor for Randy and Rustin to come back.

Two of the cutiest kids ever.

Here we are at the Trunk or Treat! It only lasted a minute but it was fun.

Then We headed to town and went to the Trunk or Treat at the Stake Center....

And last of all we went to mom and dads to show them our costumes and get some more candy!

Carving Pumpkin's

Carving our two pumpkin's only took an hour or two- and we had fun. I was the one that did most of the work considering... but hey aren't they great! Rustin really didn't like to put his hand inside the pumpkin so he became our good watcher. I had my sisters boys over for the day and so they were a huge help. In the end we all had a good time and they got to sit on our pourch for halloween. This is the first time that we have ever carved pumpkins and had them out for halloween.
