The water was freezing, but the picture is sure cute!

We spent about 3 hours and I took about 350 pictures.... Needless to say we weeded it down to about 150 pictures. We had a lot of fun. Mal said she had a hard time smiling so much, but I think she did good. Even her serious face is gorgeous! We picked a good day for the most part. It was nice and warm and the wind only blew a little. Which I think was okay because in some of the pictures the wind is blowing her hair. It was a little hard to take any with the veil on because the wind made the back poof up and then it looked funny. But all in all I think we had a good day. Next we are on to her engagement pictures!

Even Better...

Sorry no pictures, but I dont know if you would enjoy them. I just wanted to say that Rustin now goes # 2 on the potty also! WE are so excited at our house. This is like a huge deal and we are so proud of him! Hopefully we wont have any fall backs when the baby comes... thats what I am praying for! It took us about a week after he was going potty good, and now he has been going #2 for about 4 days, HOORAY!

Good News...

We are using the big boy potty NOW!!

Rustin just learning how to potty. It worked for us to put his potty in the living room.

Rustin's first attempt to put his underware on all by himself! At least he got them up...

He has finally mastered (pretty good) how to sit on the potty and go pee. He now comes to me and tells me when he needs go potty intead of me always asking him.

Rustin tries to pull up his underware by himself and sometimes just cant figure out how to get them over his bum. He is getting better every time he tries.

Now let me just tell you this has not been all peaches and cream. The first day we never had any successes and about 5 accidents. The second day was a little better with only 1 accident in the morning, but he would not go until about 3 pm. We went and had lunch with Nana, Mal, Grandma Vickie and Aunt Sid. I told him that if he didn't pee in his underware that we would go to the store and buy him a toy for staying dry. We got home and he still didnt want to go on the potty and it had been about 3 hours. I knew that he had to go so I made him sit on the potty and had to tell him that if he didnt let his pee out that I had to take his toy back to the store. It worked! He finally went pee and got to go flush it and thought that was so great that he did it 5 more times in a row... so i know he has bladder control! He sleeps through the night with no accidents- Which I love! Then on the 3rd day he didnt want to sit on the potty. I was really discouraged because he had been going so good the afternoon before. Needless to day I didnt give up and on the 4th day he finally came and got me and told me that he needed to go. Hooray! Today he is doing so good, and we haven't had anymore accidents. But I still have one problem. We have mastered going pee on the potty but he still wont go poop on the potty. He knows he has to go and holds his bum and runs around until he can hold it in for a while longer. Then he goes about playing and then the urge comes back and then he does this all over again. He doesnt want to poop in his underware- but after a while he gives up and hides in the corner and goes poop. I hope this will happen soon- I really dont know what to try.

31 weeks!

21 weeks

31 weeks
Okay, So this is me at 31 weeks. I poke out quite a bit now! A couple of people have told me that I am just all out front- which thats how I feel. I think I have gained in both areas- my bum and belly! Hopefully I wont gain much more in the last 9 weeks that I have left. But usually thats when the baby grows the most- so we will see. I think that this is about the last time that this green shirt will fit- but I wanted to do it for comparsion purposes. It's totally different when you see yourself in the mirror and when you see a picture of yourself. All i usually see is the top of my belly and thats about it. Well, this pregnancy has been quite different from the last and now I feel pretty good most of the time- unless I dont get sleep or now i have started to have some contractions. So... other than that its a whole great experience all over again. I do love to feel him move around- when its not all day ( I get a little sore). But its so reassuring to feel him and know that things are still okay.

What I 've been up to...

This crib blanket has been my little project. It took me about 2 days to get it all finished and then I took it to a lady to get it quilted-because I wan't going to quilt it by hand. I am making my boys matching comforters. Well, rustins is on hold while I get everything ready for the baby and then I will continue to make his. I made up the pattern with the help of jessi and my mom, and I'd say it turned out quite cute! I am way excited to get the room all decorated in monkey's.... I wasn't going to put little peekos on the edges but jessi thought they would be cute and so I gave them a shot and they really aren't that hard to do- What a fun little project. Next, I am going to make a hooter hider- hopefully the pattern that I found on line is easy!

Where's Rustin?

Rustin's new thing is to hide and poop. So we were at my mom's and we were wondering where rustin went. Well, we found him and a stinky corner. I am hoping we are getting closer to potty training, because he will tell me "Mom" and I say "What" and he say's "I'm pooping... " So hopefully he will decide that he wants to start using the potty. If you have any great ideas on how to get them to like the potty- do share!

Brooklynn's Birthday

This is our cute little cousin Brooklynn. She is my sisters little girl. Her and Rusin are only 3mo. apart and it has been fun (Of course they live in weston, so its fun when they are here). Anyway, It was her birthday this mo. so they came out to my dad and mom's to ahve a little birthday party here. We had fun and Brook loved opening her presants-with a little help from the cousins of course.

I think that Rustin likes this toy more than she does......

This picture is so cute to me. I love to see them do things together and they both just colored so nicely together.

Eventually Rustin was sick of coloring and started scanning the book, but Karri says that Brooklynn will color for hours.....

Say Cheese...

I just love these pictures of my handsome little boy. I love to take pictures, and sometimes I think that Rustin doesnt so much. So when I get the chance to take some where he will actually smile and not run from me I love it. He has started to say "Cheese, I wanna see" . So now I have to let him look at the picture after I take it.

Bob the Builder

Bob the Builder is Rustin's favorit show. So for christmas he got bob the builder and wendy dolls. They both talk and rustin loves them. They didnt actually get here for christmas- but that was okay, it just made them that much more fun and exciting. I had to order them because I haven't found any place to by bob the builder toys, only movies... so we have about 4 of those. Needless to say- we usually watch bob the builder a couple times a day and we get to hear bob and wendy sing and talk the rest of the day. There are some days that he wants to watch dora or mickey mouse but other than that we watch bob.
