Our Christmas in a nut shell...

Our Christmas started on the 18th of December. We went to Nana and Papa Robinson's house to celebrate, since Karri was coming out this weekend. We all enjoyed each other and had a wonderful dinner together as a family, Travis & Mike were the only 2 missing this year. After dinner we got the fam all settled down by the Christmas tree to open the presents that Nana & Papa got for us. These are a few cute pictures that we took of the boys opening their gifts. I love Rustin's cheese in this picture!

We usually go to Zion's Bank and see Santa, but this year he wasn't going to stop there. So... I had to hurry and find out where he was going to be next so that I could take the boys to see him and let them tell him what they wanted for Christmas (and get a picture of Ryler with Santa for the first time). Well, I found out from our special Elf Blinky that he was going to the school to visit all the kids there. So I loaded the boys in the car on Dec. 18th to go see him. Rustin wouldn't even come near him for a few minutes. Then I put Ryler on his lap and he cried and cried- as you can see from the picture. Ryler also didn't feel to well so that could of caused some of his crying. Anyways, he didn't really love it. Then after we got him calmed down and had a little bit better picture I slowly got Rustin to come over and see Santa, but he was not about to get on his lap. He did say that he wanted a tractor with a remote like the one that I wouldn't buy him at the store. After we left there he was pretty happy that we seen him. I also had a Santa hat that I wanted him to wear but he wouldn't do it for me (but he is holding it).... :(

This year I decided that I would make the boys matching jammies. I got the idea from a friend of mine that makes her boys' jammies and they were so cute. It was actually pretty easy after I learned how to read the pattern and after I could find ribbing. Can you believe that NO fabric store around here carries the stuff. Go figure!?! I didn't really get them finished until Christmas Eve. I guess you could say I'm a bit of a procrastinator...

Ryler had to sit here about the whole time I made them. He sure is cute though...

We have a tradition at our house that every Christmas Eve we get to open one present and it is our Christmas jammies. Just some more shots of the boys opening theirs on Christmas Eve.

After we opened our jammies we went to Aunt Tiffies and Uncle Brent's to watch movies and make cookies for Santa and reindeer food for the reindeer. Rustin and Kloee added sprinkles (glitter) to the reindeer food because that is what Rudolph the Red nose reindeer likes best.

Rustin with his reindeer food.

Frosting the cookies for Santa. Rustin liked the red and white sprinkles (which are peppermint) and he loaded his up with it. Santa sure loved it I bet.... I mentioned in a previous post that Ryler had a cold in his eyes. Well, if you were wondering why Rustin's are so red it's because he now has the cold in his eyes and it was worse than Rylers. I actually made Rustin's worse because I was giving him medicine that he was allergic to for a few days (Oops!) A few days after Rustin got rid of it Randy got it in his. I guess you could say I'm lucky because it skipped me...

We opened our jammies at our house and Aunt Tiffie was sad that Rustin didn't have one to open so he got to open her gift to him on Christmas Eve. What a lucky boy.

Rustin woke up and found the plate of cookies for Santa was gone. "Mom, he did come see", he said as he showed me the plate.

We had to wait until daddy got home to open the rest of the presents, but he did get to open the one from Santa and it was a big Thomas the train play tent. He also got a train set from mom and dad and some outfits and a few horses from Santa.
Rustin was so helpful, and helped Ryler open most of his gifts. This is about the only picture that I have of them together in their jammies. Sure cute! I love my little boys... and my big boy too! I am pretty lucky to have 3 guys in my life....
Ryler and Rustin got these cute hats from us. Rustin didn't really stop long enough to put it on for me so I just have Ryler in it. These are the horses that Santa left him in his stocking. I love this picture. He looks like he is so into playing with them that he doesn't really know what else is going on. Kind of in his own little world.

He loved chewing on this candy cane he got from Santa.

Rustin sure loves his little brother.
Rustin and Ryler posing for me to show me what Santa left them!
Rust got chap stick in his stocking too... He loves the stuff!
Ryler got this musical table from Santa.
Here's the play tent Rustin got from Santa.

Dress Up...

Here is my little boy playing dress up with his cousin Kloee. Our boys are the only little boys in the family on both sides- except Randy's sisters boys , but the youngest is about 10 and my sisters but they live in payson and we don't get to see them often. Needless to say this is what little girls like to play and so our little Rustin has also enjoyed playing dress up with them. I think it will help build his little character and make Rustin the fun loving, tractor playing, dress up wearing, little boy he is! Now look, doesn't that little grin say he's having a blast?!?

Ryler's first Hair Cut!

This is my baby's first hair cut. We did it in November and he was 7 mo. old. You can see all his little baby hair sticking streight up in the back. Thats about all he had and it was only there in the back making it hard to spike and it didn't really want to lay down. So.... we chopped it off.

Ought oh, its all gone! Here's my baby with no more little baby hair. He's so handsome....

Pictures from our Month of December....

Ryler loved CaNdY CaNeS.... Isn't he a doll eating them too!

He's always got a big smile

Poor Ry, got a cold in his eyes.

He scoots around on the floor and lifts his legs and arms up like a beached whale... It's so funny and so cute!
I came in to find Ryler scooted under the christmas tree and was playing with the my pretty decorations that were on the bottom. He thought it was pretty fun...
Rustin is such a little character. We went down to my parents house to visit for a while. He was playing and look what he found in the toy box! These good looking googles. He had so much fun with them and just kept them on and played for a good hour.
Hummm..... Has anyone seen where my lipstick went? Rustin loves chapstick and if he can get away with my lipstick this is what he loves to do! He thinks that he has to put it everywhere.... He will also talk really funny with it on. He doesn't touch his lips together because he doesn't want it to come off. Its hularious..... but, I think he looks so handsome! Don't you?!?
Just a few random pictures of our boys looking so handsome in their jammies.... and no, it wasn't bed time. It was probably like 1pm...:)

My little Ryler...

I was looking through my pictures and I came across these two! I love them, and so I wanted to share them with you. He's such a doll...

Randomness...

Rustin just thought he'd be silly today. What a goof!
He start to pull funny face and is always having me look at them. One day I was getting some pictures of Ryler and Rustin decided that he wanted me to take some of his silly faces. This is one of them...
We were just eating at my moms and she was just talking to him. He is a big fan of his tounge. I dont know if he just figured it out or what, but he always is doing this.
I was feeding Ry some squash and I had to help Rustin with something, I came back to find this and he was still trying to reach it. What a turd! He really liked it I guess. Now days I can barley get him to eat anything... but he will drink MILK! Both my boys love their milk...
Isn't he so cute... I put Rustin's cowboy hat on and he was so cute I couldn't resist snapping a few shots....

The first snow of the season...

This is just a few shots of rustin playing in the snow! It was the first and only bit of snow we've had this year. We got him all dressed up and ready to play, but it only lasted a few minutes and in he was taking it all off again!
