It's a Wow Wow Wubbzy Party!

Rustin had a birthday shout HoOrAy!
I asked him what kind of birthday party he wanted and he told me he wanted a Wubbzy party. Wubbzy is a cartoon show that he really likes to watch. I decided that I wanted him to be really sure that he wanted a wubbzy party so the next day I asked him and he wanted a franklin one... this happened a couple of times and so finally he decided that he wanted a Wubbzy one and so we went to the store and got the stuff to make his wubbzy cake! I have never decorated a cake like this before, it was fun! I must say its not too shabby for my first. We invited just the aunts and uncles and grandparents. He got may gifts and we are thankful for all our family and all they do for our little Rustin. Daddy and Mommy gave him some little tiny scriptures and he loves them so much he sleeps with them! We love you Rooney Pooney!

HaLlOwEeN

Happy HaLlOwEen Everyone! We had a fun time at the trunk-or-treat this year. We saw lots of great costumes. I think my boys look so cute in their costumes! Rustin enjoyed trunk-or-treating with his friends and then we went up to my parents to see them for a bit. After that we went over to grandma vickies and played with the cousins.

Painting Pumpkin Jugs with Tanner

This was a fun little project that the boys did. Rustin loves to pain and he kept on caking on the paint. I swear Tanner bairley had enough to make his pumpkin jug... I wasnt really thinking about bringing him a shirt or apron or something so that he didnt get his clothes all painted up. So... we just decided to take it off. It's a good thing cuz when all was said and done, he had a big streak of orange pain on his belly. After we were all finished, Tanner would give me a good big smile. Oh no, not Rustin... he was being a turd. Oh well, all in all it was a great day and we had fun playing with our friends!

Rustin's Box Car!

I just had this box in my craft room and decided that he would probably have a blast with it if we made a little car for him to drive. Not to shabby I'd say. It did make me think a little though. He has driven it all over the house! I told him we needed to go to grandma Vickies and he was ready to drive us there in his box car, but then he said... "Mom, I can't drive my car outside, it has to many holes in it..."

Just a QUICK update...

It's been a little busy around here lately... canning, my photography, running around with my little boys, trying to get my MT training done, getting tubes and just enjoying life. Its finally slowing down a little (besides a birthday party coming up & my school work). Anyway, I just wanted to post some pictures of my boys and our family pictures. We haven't gone on any fun vacations or anything just gonna share a little bit of our life around here lately...

Rustin after he woke up from getting his tubes in and adenoids out. That's his little Franklin turtle that mommy and daddy bought for him.
Right after he got back from the OR. He was pretty sad. And really didn't like that blue thing on his hand. He kept on saying "mom, it's berry itchy and scratchy." He didn't stop crying until he finally got to take it off. (The blue thing was holding the IV in)

This is him waiting to get them in. We had to be at the Hospital by 7:15 am, and he didn't even get in the OR until about 9. We had a little while to sit and be worried, thank goodness for coloring... and maybe a few games of peek-a-boo.
We were sitting on the bed before surgery and we are looking at a picture of a barn with "no cows" that was hanging on the wall. That is what little Rooney pointed out to me, that there was a barn but where did all the cows go?
Randy and Rustin looking at so awesome stickers that the nurses gave him. One was Dora, another Diego, and one of Spider man.

Rustin got this little notebook, like he always does when he wants to write or draw, and drew a ship. It was a really big ship... can you see it, look hard you might figure it out. Looks great huh!
This is my little Ryler- He's getting so big, and I love his gorgeous blue eyes!
He's AlWaYS full of sMiLeS...
I was just loving how BLUE his eyes are...
He's not quite sitting up by himself but pretty close. He always has his thumb or fingers in there chewing on them... YeAh FoR TeEtH...
I love this picture. His smile, his eyes, and that adorable little mo hawk. It doesn't quite go to the front of his little head, Its all his baby hair. Ya know the hair he came here with. I'm not quite ready to cut it, but soon (it's starting to become uncontrollable).
And last, our Family Pictures. I must say they look pretty great. I did them with a little help from my mom. She did great. If only my kids would look at the same time. Oh well, that's how our life is right now and that's what makes these pictures so great. We truly captured the essence of who our family is...

Slow Slow I know...

Okay so there are no pictures with this post just a little update. Its been a little busy around our house. Mom took off and went to the scrapbook retreat (pictures will come later). Rustin went to Aunt Kristi's and had a blast. Thanks Aunt Kristi for taking Rustin and letting him have a good time. Dad- well, he worked as usual. Ya know its harvest time and that means a lot of time spent in the fields... Little Ryler poo went with his mommy to the retreat and really didnt let her get much done. But it was fun anyways. I got to spend time with my mom and sisters and we all had an enjoyable time! Mom has been busy cleaning the house- they say spring cleaning- but I guess I wait till fall- to cold to go outside anyways right! We celebrated my birthday by having a little family dinner at the grill. Sunday we will go eat with my parents and have some cake and icecream- Yeah for birthdays, you get to eat cake and not feel guilty about doing it.... I have been taking more photos and am loving every minute. Oh and while I was at the retreat I met a lady that has a studio- she had so some great pointers and tips for me. Thanks! I've been steadily busy with tomatoes and all the things that come along with the harvest. I am about to go and pick my last batch of tomatoes- I think? Unless they dont freeze tonight- but with snow in the forcast I am pretty sure this is it. Hooray for gardening! Thats a little bit of what has been going on around here.

Me, Rustin, Kloee & Tiff
Rustin wouldn't lay down so he rode the tube on his knees. It made me a little nervous, but he did good. Kloee was so excited to ride, then we got on and she was sad the entire ride. She's such a littl sport though. I really don't know if Rustin liked it much but he said it was fun, but I asked if he wanted to go again and he said No...

Kloee & Rustin~So cute!
