Family Pics...

This is The whole Fitzgerald family. Ihas been years since we have all got together and taken a family picture. So... For Mother's Day Tiffany arranged the for the whole family to come to sunday dinner and then she had Heather Mckenna come and take some pictures of us. It was a job to get all of us in there and make sure that the kids all looked at the camera. We all are going to have the pictures printed big so that vickie can put her family on her wall. She was excited to have all her family here and update her pictures.

A few of us went to my mom's to make Mal's wedding dessert...
They were actually not too hard to make. If you went to her wedding then you will know what I am talking about. The things we made are the little Cinnamon roll up things that had some cream cheese mixture in them. They are delicious! It didn't take us long, because we had Me, mom, grandma Alice, Michelle (Carson's Mom) Mal, & Val. Grandma got pretty good at cutting and rolling the tortillas. Michelle and I filled them with cream cheese after and it took us a while to finally get them filled without getting all messy... Mal and Val took the tinfoil out of the middle and the toothpicks out. Then after that we ordered subways....

Here is Rustin eating a meatball sandwich. I didn't know if he would eat it but he loved the meatballs, but that's all.

After we ate we then went down to the church and decorated for the reception that was the next day! Great times...

So Sincere...

We went to Sunday dinner at Nana and Papa's house yesterday. Randy was asked to say the prayer. Well, when we are at home and we ask Rustin to say the prayer, sometimes he will and then sometimes he says that he doesn't want to and then just cuts in when he wants. So we were just sitting there listening to the prayer and all the sudden Rustin starts to help Randy say the prayer. Well, usually he will just copy whatever you say and usually it is like the last word or two of the sentence. But this time it was just like he was taking about something during the prayer. So when Randy was finished my mom says... did he just say "I'm thankful for my body". I wasn't sure what he said until my mom said that and then I realized that is what he said. So where did he come up with that cute little sentence. We talked about it for a minute and my mom asked if he learned aobut their bodies in nursery because thats the lesson that she gave in her sumbeams. I then realized that they had learned about their little bodies in Nursery because when I took him to nursery Amber was cutting out a coloring page that was about their bodies. I am not sure what they did besides that but I know that they talked about being thankful for their bodies and that Rustin really listened and learned something. I am usually in nursery because I am a leader along with Tasha, but since I had Ryler Amber has been my sub. I know that they are doing a great job and am thankful for what they have taught my little boy. I know that trying to come up with a little lesson that the nursery kids will understand is frustrating sometime and it is nice to see that they are actually learning. I am glad that he likes to say the prayer to thank Jesus for the the things that we have and someday soon he is going to say them all by himself.

Already 1 Week Old...

It makes me so sad to think that he is already 1 week old. It seems like I was just pregnant and now he is getting so big. We love this little guy. He is so sweet and puts up with a lot. He has a big brother that just kisses and hugs him to death and he is a good sport. Only sometimes does he fuss and cry, maybe he is getting used to it now. I keep wondering when the newness is going to wear off. Rustin keeps him awake and if he is not in his face loving on him then our little Ryler just sleeps. He is doing better through the night, but I think the sleep loss is starting to catch up with me now. Hopefully I will adjust soon. We are enjoying our little guy and are glad that he is here now!

What more can I say...

Rustin grabbed his favorite monkey off the couch and actually but a diaper on it... but as you can see the monkey already pooped so he has taken it off, but mom wouldn't give him another one and he couldn't use the one he had because the monkey had pooped in it so he just left the diaper off. He also had to have a blanket for his baby, so he could be warm. I later found him sitting in his chair feeding his monkey. I think he is so cute. He loves his little brother and would probably take care of him for me if I would let him . He is a good big brother and tells me almost everyday that he loves his little brother. He wakes up in the morning and asks me where his daddy is and then where is his baby brother. Sometimes he asks about his brother before his dad.... We are glad that he loves him so much!

More of little Ryler

Ryler has been a little confused with night and day. This photo was taken last night at like 8:30 and he is all bright eyed... We love to see his eyes. I just wish it was more through the day, we are working on it.
My two little boys
Kloee and little Ryler
Rustin loving ryler... again.

Our New little Bundle...

This is our new baby brother.... Ryler Brian Fitzgerald. We are all so excited that he is finally here! He was born on the 21st and weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 19 3/4 inches long. Everything went well with the delivery. Randy, my Mom, and Mal were all there with me and I am glad that they were. I was only at the hospital for about 2 hours before he decided to grace us with his presense-- so, I didnt have any pain meds...ya know like an epidural... but, they all told me that I did well. If I can be brave with my next one I will do it with out anything again... if i can be brave. I felt so good after the delivery and we came home wednesday night.

Rustin was sure nervous to see me in the bed and with an IV in. I told him that mom was fine and it didn't hurt and then he decided to come sit with me and hold his little brother. Rustin just loves him to death... litterally. He would sit and hold him all day if I let him. He just hugs him and loves him and wants to hold little brothers hand.

He had to check out his little hands.

We all just love our new little guy...

Easter Sunday

Rustin was so cute just laying here... he was playing with baby Kenzi
Grandma had a little easter egg hunt in the house and Kenzi loved to play with the egg. Kloee and Rustin jut love to be around her when she is here.

Our Easter-

Rustin wasn't really thrilled at the Easter Egg Hunt. He didn't want to leave my side. It made it hard for me to get a good picture of him standing at the tape line before the Hunt.

After he figured out what we were doing he was so excited and only went for the real boiled eggs. I would sometimes stop him and show him a piece of candy and of course he was excited to get candy, but maybe the eggs were just easier to find. I think he liked the hunt this year and to get the eggs.

Rustin and Breann Ivie are about the same age and like to play together, when they don't fight over toys of course. She was so cute to show me her Easter basket, but little Rooney was ignoring me (How nice huh). Lately he is becoming better at pretending he can't hear...

Okay, so last year when we saw the Easter bunny all he did was cry... but he was only 1. So this year I heard they got a new bunny and was so excited because I thought this would help him to like the Easter Bunny. All day, and the day before that, we talked about the Easter Bunny and he kept saying "I like the Easter bunny". So I was sure that this year things would be different and he would like the Bunny. Well... I guess I was wrong again! Rustin even said "cheese" through that sad cry.

We went to Nana's house after the hunt to dye our eggs. This year he was the only grand kid that could make it to her house to color the eggs, but we still had fun. He had a blast, but was a little nervous the first time that he realized that he had colored his hands. I told him it was okay and then he really got into it.

Well, he couldn't dye eggs all by himself so mom and Nana of course got to help.

This is how his hands turned out in the end. The other side was just the same!

Tadah... We colored 3 dozen eggs and Rustin loved every minute. Nana told him to set the egg on the newspaper and roll it, roll it so that it would get the extra color off. He had a blast with this, and yes we had to roll every egg after that.

Rustin has a thing with wearing a towel around his waist. So.. Easter morning he woke up-- way to early-- and decided that he wanted to sleep in his towel. We put it on and then he went back to sleep. It was about 10 am before he finally woke up to come and see what the Easter bunny had brought him. He found the fake eggs and realized that they had candy in them and that was all he wanted for a while. We had to tell him to find the rest of the things that the Easter bunny had brought him.

Rustin... Finding the eggs that the bunny had left him.

The Easter Bunny new he needed a new church suit... Doesn't he look so handsome!

A few of Mal's Engagement Pictures...

We went to altamont to take these pictures. It was a beautiful day and we had fun. They are so cute together... We are glad that carson will be in our family.
